Scandinavian ChemoTech AB (publ) performs treatments at Makati Medical Center in the Philippines
On February 15 2017 ChemoTech began their evaluation treatments with the company’s product IQWaveTM at Makati Medical Center (MMC) in Manila, which the company recently signed a letter of intent with. This is the second hospital in the Philippines in less than a week which has begun the process.
”I am hopeful and excited to duplicate in our patients the good results of the treatment using the Dynamic-ElectroEnhanced Chemotherapy. This could very well be an answer to the unmet needs of our selected patients with breast cancer, head- and neck cancer for whom we today do not have any treatment methods,” says Dr Maria Belen E. Tamayo, medical oncologist at MMC.

During the training, three oncologists and a nurse became certified users of the IQWave™ Dynamic-ElectroEnhanced Chemotherapy™.
”Now we look forward to use this success to launch the IQWave™ for all major cancer hospitals, initially in Manila”, says Mohan Frick who has been at location in Manila during this eventful week.
MMC is owned by the Philippine listed company Metro Pacific Investments (MPIC). They own a total of 13 hospitals in the Philippines after their recent acquisition of another hospital.
